Today was truly a beautiful day at the library!

Kim Bergstrom brought Whisper. Whisper & Freckles were fantastic together!

It's hard to pick a favorite picture because the dogs interacted so much with the little boys.

The first pair of brothers brought their own books from home to read to the dogs. They sat down and got nice and comfy with each of the dogs and proceeded to read. Then, the younger boy wanted to trade dogs:) Precious boys!

Then, another set of brothers came to read to the dogs. The older boy sat between myself and Kim to read.

Finally, Whisper decided she wanted to be petted so she nudged the boy on the face. He petted her then held the book with both hands. Whisper nudged him again on the face. He petted her again then went back to reading. Finally, Whisper nudged the book! The boy ended up kneeling against Whisper with the book over her back to read. She liked that.

Then, the boy got another book and came back to read it. He lay down with his head on Freckle's belly and his feet on Whisper's belly. There he lay for several minutes reading a book on working dogs. His little brother came over & lay down too. Precious!!!!!

There are a couple of pictures after that of the boy sitting and Whisper was laying on his lap. At one point, the boy lay on the blanket near Whisper and Whisper sat on him. We didn't get a picture of that!

What a day at the library! We were there for 1 1/2 hours ----we were having too much fun to leave!
